The Community Centre is used by a wide range of organisations and individuals, both weekly and for one off bookings, such as craft fairs, children's parties and wedding receptions.
The Main Hall can be used for many different types of events. It is 10m wide x 17m long, although sometimes when it is configured for theatrical use it might be a little shorter. The space can be set up to seat 180 people in a theatre/ auditorium setting: for parties or quizzes, 120 people can be comfortably seated around tables.
The kitchen is included as part of the Main Hall hire. It is equipped with a 6-burner hob with a large electric oven. There is a domestic-size microwave, a built-in water boiler for hot drinks, along with a small under-counter fridge and freezer.
The Centre has a well-equipped bar, which can be hired, additionally, with the booking. No alcoholic drinks can be brought into the Centre.
The Small Hall is behind the stage at the back of the Centre. It has its own entrance, accessible both through steps from the car park or from the ramped access by the front door. It is 7m x7m approximately and has access to its own toilets. There is a small kitchenette suitable for making hot drinks and serving light snacks. Equipment that is usually available is 36 chairs and up to 10 Go-pak type tables.
There is a free car park adjacent to the building which has full wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities. There is Wi-Fi throughout the building.
